Don Austreberto l
Austreberto Aragón García, originally from Ejutla de Crespo, was born in 1873 and died on June 7, 1954. He led the fourth generation of the family business and completely revolutionized the style of knives, creating more aesthetically pleasing finishes without sacrificing utility and quality. A highly passionate and innovative man, he began engraving his pieces and applying nickel plating to protect them from rust.

Austreberto Aragón Maldonado: He was born on February 14, 1899 in Ejutla de Crespo, Oaxaca. He was in charge of Casa Aragón from 1925 to 1960, he was a member of the fifth generation. Don Austreberto Aragón was known for being a hardworking person, it was he who brought the cinema to Oaxaca for the first time, the famous “Cine Aragón”.

Aurelia Lucrecia Guzmán Ruiz: She was born on November 12, 1904, she was the wife of Don Austreberto, she also dedicated her life to knives as she was the one who made the drawing and engraving on the pieces.
Don Guillermo
Guillermo Jaime Aragón Guzmán. He was born on June 25, 1943, at the age of 11 he is taken out of school to be instructed in the manufacture of knives and continue the tradition. In 1960 he took charge of the cutlery.

In 2026, after more than six decades at the helm of Casa Aragón, Don Guillermo passed the reins to the seventh generation. He remains involved with the workshop, guiding and sharing his expertise with the new generation.
David Aragón
In 2019, at the age of 24, David Aragón joined the family workshop, where he began his training under the tutelage of his father, Guillermo Aragón.

In 2024, David Aragón began developing his own pieces, incorporating new ideas and materials into the family tradition.
In 2026, he took over the management of Casa Aragón, continuing a seven-generation tradition of cutlers.

Thanks to the prestige that we have acquired during our long history, we have been fortunate to be invited to different international events. We have been to China, Switzerland, Canada. The United States is the country we have visited the most and our pieces were widely known thanks to the articles published by “The Blade Magazine”. The most important magazine about cutlery. The photo was taken in Valley City, North Dakota during the 2001 Mexican Fiesta. Don Guillermo is with Congressional Representative, Earl Pomeroy.
