CASA ARAGÓN

We are one of the oldest cutlery workshops in Oaxaca.

Our history dates back to 1750; we are originally from   Ejutla de Crespo, but in 1905 we moved to Oaxaca de Juárez.

We started as blacksmiths, seeking solutions to the common problem of springs in the metal plates of chests and house doors. Later, Don Hermenegildo transferred this skill to the creation of "rough-work knives." It was Don Austreberto (his son) who began making aesthetically pleasing knives without sacrificing functionality.
